Inside The Book
What is this book about
This book is about the chaos of life, about escape and return, about the creation of myths and their destruction. A book about the perniciousness of the herd instinct and the value of the personal path.
How is it made
The book is monochrome. Black and white. There is a strong contrast and no halftones. It is a binary code: zero or one, black or white, to be or not to be.
There is no text in the book. There is only the author's annotation.
Animation of the three central parts of the project
Half of the Book was reproduced by me in the form of a picturesque monochrome panorama on canvas. Size 1x25 meters. Consists of 10 canvases, 100x250 cm each. The material is Black Ink on a primed rough canvas. You can watch this video:
